Very knowledgeable and friendly. They allowed my friends space to change their baby's diaper during the Fire and Ice Festival. It has a great Of Dice and Pen game shop in the back with ability to demo the games. The owner was willing to hand deliver a couple games to my house in Lancaster so I wouldn't have to pay shipping charges. I call that great service!
Lovely bookstore with a mix of new and used books, great selection and a family gaming area in the back with demo games to try out before you buy.
I sincerely wanted to rate this bookstore 5 stars, but it doesn't deserve it. I attended their game night. It was very cliquish. And the owners, husband and wife team, really did not want to teach newcomers how to play new games. It seemed like everybody knew everyone else and no sincere effort was made to welcome newcomers. I gave it two different weeks... so two different chances. I went with two different friends on two different occasions. My friends did not enjoy themselves either. We were disappointed in the lack of warmth and reception. It was an unwelcoming atmosphere. I truly wanted to give this place five stars but I cannot. I have no desire to return. On the upside... great restaurants on the same street. Best hamburgers in town. Good ice cream in town. And of course, Wilbur's Chocolate Factory and the lovely Lititz Park.
This is an incredible store with an old town feel. Please visit and shop! Local is great!
I visit several times a year. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Find the book you want or just look around. All free. Also great new games available.
