I have gone to the office of Gardner & Stevens to deal with multiple issues. John Stevens has prepared our wills, but he has also helped us with job contracts. Recently, we had to have John deal with a fender-bender where the at-fault party was unwilling to pay. John was able to successfully handle this issue. We have found him to be dependable and also highly skilled. We believe John is the type of lawyer who is great at his job, but also knows your name. The Gardner & Stevens staff has been professional and courteous. We have also referred other friends to his office and they were happy with the referral. They told me John efficiently handled their issues and they didn't feel like they were billed exorbitant charges/fees. I personally went with one friend to John's office as she needed some support as she was dealing with an emotional estate issue. John was very compassionate as my friend cried while discussing some sensitive details of the problem. I have waited way too long to say good things about John - who for years has been our most reliable source for legal advice.
If you could give a zero I'd give it to them...I'm a male and they did nothing for my custody fight for my child's well being... and then I never said yes to them defending me in a small custody agreement issue. All a sudden a bill shows up of substantial amount. I told him I didn't want him for sure if that's what he's gunna charge after I already paid 10000.00 in a year to them for my custody fight. And now he is taking me to court over the money that I never agreed for him to defend me on... shady shady shady business... shame. Never even put up a fight for me... never brought me in to develop a case. I had no clue what was happening until. 15 minutes before going in courtroom everytime. No fight what's so ever. This is my child he treats the situation as "its just some kid and dad".
We have been very pleased with the outstanding service received from Gardner and Stevens.
